[ SHOWGSD-L ] Show or not

Many times I've heard or read on the list that a particular dog is being held
out of showing until they mature. Other times they earn their championship as
puppys. What are the indicators that it would be better to wait a while before
starting the dog in the ring. When do you know they are "ready".
BTW This list is becoming addictive...I enjoy the conversations about gsd's.
