The daily dose for Safe-GuardÂ®   is 50 mg/kg (22.7 mg/lb) of body weight
 
Safeguard liquid is 100mg per 1cc.  
 
1 cc per 5 lbs = 20mg/lb    not enough
1cc per 4 lbs = 25mg/lb   slightly more but very safe product.    This is the 
dosage my repro vet recommends.

The Intervet (maker of Safeguard) seminar I attended sxeveral years ago we were 
told do not under dose or you will not kill all of the worms.
