IF we are serious about a concern for BSL in Colorado and elsewhere...action is
important. Wringing our hands on this list does little other than raise
anxiety. For those in the Colorado area the Rocky Mountain News has a forum on
BSL --interesting comments and suggestions. There is also supposed to be a
poll to gather public opinion for/against BSL. I haven't found that yet.
Public meetings are being held in Commerce City and Aurora for those who can
attend. Rational and thoughtful views need to prevail over emotional scare
tactics. Alternatives to breed elimination should come from responsible dog
owners.
