The study did not say "all" dogs but "some" dogs reabsorb due to the bacteria found in a raw diet. From what I understand it is a problem with "some" dogs/lines. I was told by the vet at Univ of Penn that after pregnancy, raw diet is fine. To me if a dog is missing, and you feed raw, it can not hurt but to try to stop the raw temporarily, "just in case".
