I know a lot of us use The Redbook to look at pedigrees of our top producing sires and dams. Without having them all laid out in front of me, here's a question for you students of the breed and pedigrees. Does anyone know the percentage of ROM sire and dams that were line bred, or out cross breeding? Would like to know if there were more line bred or out cross top producers. How about our GV & GVX's? How many were line bred or out crosses? Are our top producers and winners products of line breeding or out crossing? Of course I don't expect anyone to actually know the real numbers.
