I used this color calculator for my horses too bad it is not available for
dogs. The Animal Genetics lab
is one of the best out there for testing for dogs and horses. I found it years
ago and
used it as I never liked UCDavis even though my horse breed uses them instead.

Does it not factor in whether the black is dominant or recessive?
It use to be that the GSD was not suppose to have dominant black.
