[ SHOWGSD-L ] PAWS OPPOSITION ONLINE PETITION

The PAWS 2005 Opposition online petition has gathered over 3,500 signatures
with limited promotion. It is not meant to be a replacement for individual
letters/faxes/communications to Federal legislators. It serves as an online
method of registering one's opposition to PAWS 2005 in support of individual
letters/emails/faxes to Federal Legislators whose staffmembers seem to be
misinterpreting constituents' opposition communications.
To sign the online petition, go to www.petitionspot.com and click on Paws 2005
Opposition. They'll send you back an email to confirm you are who you are and
that you desire to register your opposition to PAWS 2005 online. This two-step
process assures the validity of each signature. Validity assurance will be
important when the results of this online petition is presented to Federal
Legislators, which it will be presented to Federal Legislators at the
appropriate time/forum.
If you haven't already signed the online petition, I encourage you to do so.
Any US voter who opposes PAWS 2005 should be encouraged to sign and support.
Signors and supporters do not have to be animal owners! Any supporter in
opposition of PAWS 2005 can sign, so ask your friends, family, co-workers, etc.
to support the opposition of PAWS 2005 via this convenient online petition
method (and also write to Federal Legislators).
PAWS 2005 must be opposed and stopped!
