states have motor vehicle laws re hands free cell phones. Are you going to

THAT'S a bad idea? Guess you haven't seen some of the drivers I have who
can't talk on the phone and see a stop sign at the same time

Well.... I am going to speak out of both sides of my mouth - darn, I hate
that... I live in the country and in the past I used to have one of my dogs
lose in the car as I felt safe and protected with the big beast sitting back
there. I don't do that anymore because I worry about their safety in case of
an accident.
However, I have to think that this rule is not such a bad idea - have you
seen the number of people that travel with little Fido sitting on their lap
while they drive? These are usually tiny little dogs (Chihuahuas, Toy Poodles
and Yorkies are the favorites) These dogs are jumping around, barking and
creating a lot of distraction for the driver. And.... have you noticed that
these are mostly men - rather than women? Here in southern Virginia, you
often
see big burly men with multiple tattoos, driving a pick up truck with a gun
rack in the back window and holding a tiny Toy Poodle on their lap.
