Well, if the truth be told, the AKC is ONLY licensed in New York State,
to do business in New York State. The State has overlooked the truth of
the matter, which is that the AKC actually conducts business in the
entire country...and, if the newly introduced (for the second time)
proposal to have all judges pay an annual licensing fee (altho AKC says
we are NOT licensed, only approved...so they can withdraw approval
whenever they feel like it)..anyway, if that proposal is put into
effect, there is going to be hell to pay because one or more of the
Judges' organizations is going to report this "non-profit, licensed only
in New York State" outfit to the IRS and to any other government
organization that can do something to shut them down.
So -- how "nice" does the AKC look to you now?
