I flew Harley (93 pounds in a 500 Crate) from San Diego to the Ohio National in
October, 2009 as excess baggage, on the same plane I flew on, for $175 each
way. That was on Delta Air Lines. I have always found Delta, American, and
Continental to be great. I use whichever airline has non-stop flights to my
destination.

I have used continental and they are very reasonable. I shipped a 6 month old
that weighed 55lbs for 309 before tax. Everyone else wanted between 550-650.
This pup went from PA to CA.
