I probably should've mentioned, I am flying & wam looking to take a dog as excess baggage. I'm not trying to fly the dog solo. I've flown Frontier & American with dogs ok. I've not tried United (generally their ticket prices are on the high end, so I avoid them), Northwest charges more for the dog flying with the suitcases than for me in a seat with a complementary beverage, so they're out. I know Southwest & Air Tran say no to excess baggage pets. There's a new Midwest Airlines (?) operated by Frontier... anyone know anything about them? USAir?? Delta?? What size plane do I need to look for? I'm guessing Cash will need a 500 crate. Jack flies in a 400, but I bet "they" won't let me fly Cash in one.
