officer positions. The Treasurer position does have some qualifications

Tish is correct, and Gail will ask the board to confirm Laurie. If Laurie
ran, she was qualified for the position, and she did and she is. At the end
of
the year there will be an election.
As I understand it, at this time, Laurie is willing to finish the term, but
is not considering taking it on next year. We shall have to encourage her, and
perhaps after she sees how smoothly the transition goes, she will change her
mind. She is a great addition to our board.
