=46YI: The practice of withholding registration papers has been going on
forever. And for their part, AKC *will* back up a breeder who chooses
to do this! It's the breeder's personal choice how to sell since the
breeder is the one who has done all the work. The litter is their
personal, private property, so they get to decide how, when and to
whom they sell their property... as well as for what price, if any.
