[ SHOWGSD-L ] Junior Handlers "Association"

Whatever happened to the idea raised years ago of having a Juniors Handlers
"association" or committee that was willing to work with juniors to get
contacts of exhibitors, help get them in contact with interested breeders,
handlers to shadow, fund-raise money for travel.... the national.... etc?
Is that in existance? Does our parent club have a "support" of any kind for
Junior Handlers looking for this exact type of thing?

This is about a young lady who is dying to go to the Nationals but cannot
afford to foot the bill by herself. Her parents are unable to help her much
financially. Her name is Veronica Dollar (Roni). We (Hallie McMullen and I)
took her to Daytona two years ago, but this is not an option this year as we
are having room mates ourselves already.
Roni would be willing to share a room with another Junior and consequently pay
half of the expenses. If there is any one of the Juniors able to go "halfsies"
with her she'd be a happy girl.

willing to share with her. She is very sweet and would be able to adapt to
anyone. Lets hope we can get her there.
