[ SHOWGSD-L ] Itching & Benadryl

I've got a girl here who is very plush coated and just starting to blow. She's
scratching up a storm and just miserable; I've been brushing several times a
day to help get the hair out and the oils distributed; today she's getting a
good warm bath and blowdry. But in the meantime, I'd also like to give her
some Benadryl to make her more comfortable until the bulk of this hair is gone
and before she actually does some skin damage. I keep a file of old emails
from the list on every health related subject so I have the information at hand
if I ever need it but none of them say what dosage was used. How much would
you give an adult bitch to be effective? I seem to remember it is a bit more
than for us humans but wanted to get the correct amount straight from the
experts.
