....for she has been here these last fifteen plus years, loving and guarding
her family...shadowing her beloved Debi's every step.
She is not a Champion..there are no titles that follow her simple name. She was
a show ring drop out; at a year and a half old, a slight blue merle Aussie
whose life up until that time had been limited to a kennel or crate.
How she blossomed over the years...her "my pretty pony" prancing around her
yard punctuated with happy playbows and zig zags, outrunning her best buddy,
Kodi. She enjoyed long trips to the North Carolina seashore with her family,
the children and eventually, the grandchildren too....but it was always Debi
who her eyes searched out. She was the dog that everyone dreams of...never a
misstep...full of loving devotion and wisdom...accepting life and its changes
as it came.
It must have been hard for Heaven to let her go so many years ago...
and now it will be hard for her beloved Master to let her leave....
When you look up tonight, notice that the stars will be shining just a little
more brightly as they welcome one of their own back Home.
Safe Journey, pretty pony...until we all meet again.
