I have a very close friend of mine that has a dog that bloated yesterday.
It was caught very early and she did not torsion. She came thru it okay and
is not eating extremely small meals about every two hours. She is currently
being fed evangers canned food along with plain yogurt and charcoal. She is
only being fed a tablespoon to a tablespoon and a half of canned and a
tablespoon of yogurt plus a few granules (2-4) at a time. If you have had
experience with dogs that are recovering from bloat or know of someone who
has, can you give me some insight? What did you feed, how much, how often,
ect??? When did you go down to fewer meals? This was a mature female that
had no kibble all day and bloated after eating a raw chicken hindquarter.
Thanks in advance.
Samantha
