not only has kay had a great run with strider but her attitude  and sense 
of sportsmanship make it so easy to be happy for her.

The point is for those of us who do it that it is enjoyable ....  a  
hobby for us.  For me it  is also about the friendships  you make and  
the good times you have at the shows with  friends....the breakfasts,  
lunch and dinners afterwards.  My  dogs show in conformation, obedience  
and rally ---the latter two I  handle myself.  I love the interaction  
with the dog and the  bonding that occurs. Just because it seems you do  
not enjoy it or  want to do it, don't belittle those who do.  JMHO
