How all the recent videos I have seen of the Nationals they
are in a inside facility.
The GSD Specialties are at motel settings, parks, etc. but
the Nationals are inside it seems. You might also add
that the surface at the Purina site is used for All-Breed
shows and other breeds. There are also outside rings to
use as 2015 GSDCA Sieger Show does. I thought last year
the people wanted the show inside for the rain. Last years rain
was not a normal so doubt it happens again. It was hard sometimes
to get to the vehicle though without getting wet.

If breeders and owners want to promote what they are
be going to All-Breed Shows not just showing in GSDSpecialty Shows. Who
sees the dogs at the Specialty but only the owners,breeders, handlers. Which
makes the ones that attend just the breeders, handlers,owners and possible
friends. The Nationals at the Purina Farm promotes GSDsjust like a All-Breed
show as people there stop in to check it out. Whenthere are only 1 GSD or none
showing and winning in classes at All Breed Shows orjust a few showing in GSD Specialty
classes winning points how does that show to thegeneral public knowledge of the GSD.
I guess if the breeders and owners just want to promotetheir GSDs to each other
no reason for the General Public to be there. Ido not believe this to be the case though
as they want General Public to know of what they arebreeding and showing.

most don't want to travel with their dogs. Soagain moving it around the USA just
is for those who do not want to travel long distancewith their dogs. If you need airports
to allow larger crates seems to be the top reasonpeople want it closer to them. If the attendance
are down at Specialty shows as it is talked about allthe time the Nationals are not going to bring
dogs in all over the country but just the dogs near asit does now.
