We went through terrible floods in Greenville, NC about 6 years ago. Our church was a distribution point and goods were taken as far as the national guard trucks who took it across the water to refugees. Don't send clothing! Unless it is undergarments. People need personal items and baby items generally. Maybe unisex clothing or 'one size fits all' but a lot that people cast off and send winds up in dumpsters and make a lot of unnecessary work for those sorting for distribution.
