Would you give a dog with 3 or 4 major faults a ribbon if it looked like a
decent type German Shepherd?

I would think not, but if the other dogs had 5 or 6 major faults, the one
with 3 or 4 might place. It depends on what the major fault is, and how
important I decide to judge it. This is one of those trick questions with a
trick
answer.

According to our standard, there are faults, serious faults and
disqualifying faults. The decision of what is major or minor is not stated in
our
standard. Certainly disqualifying faults would be major, other than that, I
guess
you would call serious faults what you wanted, major or minor. What is "light
eyes"? No where does it define major faults.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.
