Colleen, I,too, value this list for the same reasons : information and
friends.
Had only one instance of down pasterns Cod liver oil worked. I
would think it would be good for ears as well.
Mega : had that occur years ago when line breeding on the Arbywood
F litter. It manifested itself as soon as the pups began solid food.
Fading puppies: Have not had this with shepherds, but have in Corgis.
This was years ago and I was able to save them by wrapping them in
an electric blanket and raising their body temperature significantly.
Ginger Cleary has a wealth of info on this.

healthy babies with outstanding perfect temperaments and may all the pups be
treasured and cherished.
I have appreciated my time on this list....I have made friends, developed
enemies, and found out that people I thought were friends are truly not, but
also found that my true friends are still there. I have found that some will
"shelter" abusers (gotta' make you think about the protectors of that sort of
scum ! ) , I have gained hordes of first hand knowledge from "old timers" *
bowing down and thanking you from my heart, I sooo appreciate it! * ,
