It goes by the honor system as far as the judge marking his sheet. If he is
informed that it finshed the animal, he can award the points if he thinks the
animal is deserving. AKC will make the final decision to award the points
officially.

If the WB did get Grand Champion points, how could she do so, if she wasn't
a champion? Or, can they claim that finished them, and then give them the
points?
