No. I would hope no one would shut up. I was told to, and it ain't going
to happen. I will continue to criticize and confront the board when I think
they are wrong.
What I tried to say is that do not confuse the actions with the actors.
Those on this board, with but a few exceptions work hard, do what they think
is best and are dedicated to this breed.
That does not mean they are right, or even right more often than not.
Certainly when board members ask me to represent them against the board it
indicates a real problem. I can think of four times that has happened.
We need to keep pushing back, criticize when we feel they are wrong, and
stand up to be counted. There are almost 2,000 of use with the brain power
to respond to the 13 people we elected. Our input is invaluable.
What is not right is to walk away or shut up. If you don't want to be
involved, that is fine. But continue to be part of the solution by paying the
eight or nine dollars a month, and vote to form a more perfect union.
