I think they have it west, central, east central.
Colorado would be central, but in this case they are calling it west. I am with
you. If it is east of the Rockies then it is not west. But if you are a flat
lander in the middle you may think Colorado is in the west. If you are from the
west coast then Colorado is in the central :0) Just all depends where you are
standing. The good news is that the site looks wonderful. Some of the hotels
are spendy but you can find some cheaper rooms. If we get snowed in we can all
go crash Lew's house :0) It is 1227 miles from Portland Oregon, and 1226 from
San Francisco. It is 1066 from LA and 892 from Saint Louis.
The only direct flight into Denver from Oregon is United. All of the rest of
the flights are connecting in Salt Lake City. Those planes are not big enough
to carry a 500 crate.
The handlers may want to get in breathing shape :0) I have been to the 12
thousand foot level in Vale and I did not have a problem. I wasn't handling a
dog, but I was power shopping.

Sounds like midwest as it is east of the Continental Divide.
