I just came home from completing part of the 12 days of Christmas for a dear
neighbor, who was widowed about 2 months ago.
This neighbor has always cared for my dogs, and often watches, feeds, give
meds etc. when I am not home.
So this story is "dog related", to a point.

I had several other neighbor's help with this, and we all worked at not
getting caught as we put various things on her doorstep, or hung them on the
door knob. It was a joint effort She was so surprised when the neighbors
who helped me out with this showed up on her porch and we began to sing the
twelve days of Christmas, our version. :-)
I am including the last verse of our rendition. Then you will "know" the
rest of the story.

"On the twelfth day of Christmas, my good friends gave to me twelve tiny
Santa's, eleven sweet treats to share, ten fancy gift tags, nine scrumptious
brownies , eight plates for serving, seven Clementine Tangerines, six bright
red ribbons, five painted trees, four ornaments, three truffles, two
Christmas breads and a candle to warm your holiday."

She is leaving tomorrow to spend the Christmas weekend with family. So she
received the last two gifts early, tonight, along with our 12 days rendition

There in lies the "JOY" for me....do unto others.

Best wishes to all this Holiday season and into the New Year!!!

any rate-the house is almost clean. The dogs got their baths, and my Spunky

Spreading cheer at a rehab/Nursing home. He did great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A
natural. Of course, his Great Granddaddy, Konigin's Great Ball's afire
(Jerry Lee) won the Hero Dog award this year. Merry Christmas from this
