Thanks to all of you that wrote to me about this topic.  Someone wrote 
to me this morning saying they bet the bird went away.  NOT!  She was 
back again this morning even after I put up a black out shade.  She was 
still pecking at the window.  I knew that I wouldn't be able to tolerate 
listening to that all day as I had some serious reading to do on the 
internet today.  I needed to concentrate.......not listen to a 
compulsive little bird taping on the window pane all day.  So I put some 
of my dog's stuffed toys on the windowsill.  The stuffed bear alone 
didn't do it.  I had to had another one next to that one.  That seemed 
to FINALLY do the trick.  She's been a good little bird this afternoon 
and has left my window alone.............for now!    Barbara
