Whew! The pies are made, the posole and tamales finished, the turkey thawing
as we speak, the boarding kennel is full to overflowing and the luminarias
are all set out and ready to light on Christmas Eve.
Now just waiting for kids and grandkids to appear and the flurry to begin.
Not many presents this year, but everyone gets a small something and all the
boarders get a nice, juicy chicken wing for their treat.... mine will have
their full share of the turkey and trimmings, not being spoiled or anything.
As Flower Boy says, "Life is good".
Wishing you all a warm and wonderful Christmas, filled with the promise of a
great New Year....from cold but sunny New Mexico.
