Thank you Laurie, now I understand. However, I do wonder why AKC changed
this. Owning a champion, or buying champions or co-owning with others who
have bred them does not seem to me to be the same. However, one does learn
good dogs by living with them. And Laurie, congratulations on how well your
breeding did at the past National.

Then how are people who have only bred one maybe two Champions getting
approved?
Nancy - AKC has an alternative point system - where you can meet certain =
requirements and earn points - 60 are required in order to applyfor a =
