MESSAGE FROM ST. ANDREWS MIDDLE SCHOOL:


National Groundhog “Go With a Relative to Work” Job Shadowing Day

7th and 8th Graders at St. Andrews Middle School are being encouraged to 
participate in the National Groundhog Job Shadowing Day on Friday, Feb. 2.

The program allows students to “shadow” a parent, other relative or trusted 
family friend, etc. on their job for an entire workday.  This is a good way for 
students to gain insight into the world of work and observe a “career in 
action.”  

Students should receive information packets in homeroom on either Monday (Jan. 
22) or Tuesday (Jan. 23) about participating in the shadowing program.  

Students should complete the Permission Form and return to the homeroom teacher 
or guidance counselor no later than Tuesday, Jan. 30.  Students who return 
completed permission forms will receive additional information.

This is an excellent opportunity and rewarding experience for both the student
