This is from Wayne Thomas, EVAC's Treasurer, to the EVAC Board.  He already has 
reported 16 renewals that are due entirely to Peter's mailings to former 
members.  That's $320 (more if it were SAC), which offsets mailing costs 
tenfold or so already.

Today (2/23) our POBox contained the following (I last picked up mail on 16 
February): 
18 responses to Peter's "membership expired" letter of last week 
       (assumed to be membership renewals)
4 returns from that mailing due to incorrect addresses (see below)
1 hand addressed envelope
2 pieces to Peter Argenziano
1 bill from Peter A.
1 newsletter returned due to incorrect address (see below)
1 large envelope from S&T.

The personally addressed membership notifications are (and will continue to 
be) a success!
