Hi, Stefano,

Our only experiences so far has been with two different vendors and using
Saba as the LMS. For one vendor (SkillSoft), we've managed to get
everything working correctly. The dll that is required on our IIS server
works with Saba's LMS page and sends data as required.

For the other (NETg), we've been waiting for the piece that sits between the
course and the LMS - like SkillSoft's "aiccapi.dll". Saba has said they
would get it to us, but we haven't seen it yet.

In any case, I know that the SkS AICC sends some information - percent
completed, for instance - but I don't really know what.

Hope that helps!

Thanks,
--Ian

Subject: [saba_lms_dev] AICC tracking

We are developing AICC contents to be tracked in Saba (3.3.1.0 for Oracle)
but I noticed there are lots of lacks in AICC compliance and, to be honest,
the support of level 1 is too poor to have usefull details... say
"Completation date" of a module, for instance, or "First/Last attempt date".
All these infos are not tracked... so we have developed another kind of
trackment system, called Trax, based on XML and tied to Saba thru an ISAPI
application (we use Microsoft IIS web server). Of course it can be done
using a Java servlet; we are porting Trax to Java at the moment.
Any different experience?
Regards
