What community are we building in this space? Possible Activity (we will choose one): 1. Community Circle: Think about a community you identify with from smallest to largest. We will go around in a circle and each will vocalize their affiliations. If some one else identifies, they will make a physical movement to symbolize connection. 2. Image Theater: Think about the communities you come from. Use your body to create an image that represent the communities you come from. Then use your body to create an image that displays the community you want to create with us. After that, say your name and one of the communities you come from. Who were the key players in our growth and development, and why? Activity: 1. Watch the youth video where they engage the same question. 2. Story Circle: Talk about a time you were supported to achieve a dream or goal. 3. Creative responses to themes that emerged during the story circle 4. Creative report back.
