The lenses made > by Rollei are engraved “made by Rollei” and “HFT” if they have the HFT > process; lenses made by Carl Zeiss are engraved “Carl Zeiss Germany “ > or “Carl Zeiss West Germany” and “HFT” if they received the “T*” > process in Oberkochen and always talking about lenses made for the > SL35 system. Photographs about the different samples are shown in the > Rollei Report IV. I suspect that most lenses made by Carl Zeiss for Rollei cameras received the "HFT" engraving on the lens ring instead of "T*", there is no doubt Carl Zeiss Oberkochen made a lot of lenses for the SL35/2000/3000 QBM Rollei mount, for the Rollei SL 66/E/SE and for the Rollei SLX-6000 cameras with the term "HFT" and not "T*", CZ even made the Planar 2.8/80 for the Rolleiflex 2.8F "Platin" TLR camera engraving the term "HFT" and not "T*" on the lens ring. These are some samples about exotic lenses made by CZ Oberkochen for Rollei SLR 35mm cameras like the Carl Zeiss 15mm f3.5 Auto HFT Distagon and similars with the term "HFT" and not "T*": http://captjack.exaktaphile.com/rollei/Rolleilenses.htm These are samples for the SL66 (click on the red arrows to the right of the lenses diagrams and data, the exotic ones specially) : http://www.sl66.com/pg/lens_index.shtml Carlos --- Rollei List - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx - Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Unsubscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Online, searchable archives are available at //www.freelists.org/archives/rollei_list
