Carlos, the book you need to read is Jan Morris, CORONATION EVEREST, where he/she spills it all out, about the '53 climb and the transmission of the news back to civilization. Morris is still alive: if you have an argument, take it up with him/her. Again, I have a lot of Everest books and a lot of Everest knowledge and you want to try to trump my ace with a single book, worthy though it is.
