I would like to invite members of the this list to contribute prints for an exchange. The primary motivation for this is to experience the diversity and richness of the talent that meets here on paper, in the form of prints made by the photographer. Silver-gelatin prints are encouraged, but all other means of producing continuous tone images are welcome (carbon prints, carbro prints, albumen prints, ziatypes, tin types, Argyrotypes, Bromoils, chrysotypes, cyanotypes, transfers, inkjet, didimissany?, etc.)
The requirements are:An image captured on negative black and white film through any lens made by or attached to a Rollei camera.
An edition of 5x7 prints, size of edition = number of participants.Prints to be titled (optional), signed and numbered in the border or on the back, with an information sheet. Maximum number of participants is 12 (give or take - let's see how many we end up with).
Please commit by end of May. Deadline for prints: before the end of June.Interested photographers should email me at eroustom@xxxxxxxxxxx, with the message subject being (exactly): 2008 Rollei Print Exchange.
Editions to be mailed to me. I will sort, and distribute. An enclosure and title sheet will be made. Include postage or return labels with your prints (internationals can make other arrangements).
