One should of course be aware of the typical Soviet quality control
problems -- the Jupiter 12 I had was the worst lens I ever had --
unsharp at 4x6

Really? If this is true, I am glad to hear it, as I was thinking of
buying a Jupiter 12 for my Zorki.
