My Bessa R is out of alignement, but my T (nice camera) and R2 (very nice camera) aren't. The R2 gets a fair bit of use, too. Not as nice as my M3, but more practical. I have heard this complaint about the Bessa R's RF, never experienced it myself. Sold my R & Ts to get R2s, a worthwhile upgrade IMO. When I had them my Ts - underrated cameras, these - never showed any misalignment, nor do my R2s now. I not heard of RF misalignment problems on the T or the R2s. My point is that Bessa and Leicas can be repaired, but parts for the Hexar (and Contax Gs too, I expect) are already hard to find and the position will only get worse in the future. ----- Original Message ----- From: "FRANK DERNIE" <frank.dernie@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, 30 September, 2006 9:35 PM Subject: [rollei_list] Re: Planar for Leica M and now Sonnar. > IME the Bessa rangefinder is a poor design prone to losing vertical > alignment.
