Hmm. I do respect Peter greatly as a scholar and
I know his monograph and have discussed it with
him. But, to the contrary, I've yet to see a
Contax S that was not limping along quite
well. I've never seen one which had died. I
just ran my own Contax D through the chimes, and
it works quite well, after all these years.
