That is a side issue which has not one thing to do with the benefits of vegetarianism. Get rid of the tinpot dictatorships, and food distribution problems go away.
I have no objection to those who choose to be vegetarians choosing to do so. I do get cranky when they try to impose THEIR views on me. I do not like the taste of most vegetables and I do like the taste of almost all meats.
