[rollei_list] Cable Release

I have a really old Rollei (I think its from the 50's) that someone just gave me. I've been planning to use it for night sky shots. However the cable release that I have doesn't seem to work for it. It screws in but when I push the plunger it doesn't take a picture.

Any tips
