As previously noted, the Zeiss-Opton/Carl Zeiss
version is an optically tweaked design from that
of the Jena lens. The differences are minor and,
in my experience, there is little effective difference in performance.
A Jupiter will provide identical optical
performance at a much lower cost, provided you
find one which is properly set up.
