Hello José:
Your 2,8F was made at the ending of 1960 probably, Rollei started to manufacture it in June 1960.

I've probably posted this comment in the past but my first Rollei was a 2.8C with a Xenotar lens. I bought it in Hong Kong and got all the accessories available at the time. It was a wonderful camera but of course no light meter. I used the paper guide that came in film packs as well as a very old/sick GE meter. Strangely, I don't remember any really poor exposure results. That camera served me well with travels through three continents.

I had to let it go when I needed a 3.5F for a Rolleimarin IV I bought from a guy who couldn't afford to own it, thus missing the chance to own a 2.8F.

The point I make is that the Rollei's are the best built cameras I have used and I still own Nikon and Contax products.

Regards and Happy Halloween to those who participate.
