I've been asked to explain.

At Frog Music Press we have composed a number of books of music with MIDI
disks.
In most cases the MIDI disk is inserted into the PR-300 or other GS MIDI device
and you choose the work you wish to play.

Many start with an introduction from the MIDI disk which introduces the work
and
sets to the tempo for the organist. The organ parts tend to work in
conjunction, meaning that there are few pauses where you must try to keep time
to match the orchestra on the MIDI disk. In those cases where the organ starts
with the MIDI file, the PR-300 flashes the tempo in count down fashion before
you play.

The organ parts are not on the MIDI disks because this series is to encourage
the employment of organists! For those that want disks to play the organ,
please consider the Bach By Immersion Series disks...or our latest project, the
Masterworks Library...more about that later.

The tempo can be adjusted to a more comfortable speed as you like.

Was this complicated to work out? Well, yes. To give you an idea, Lauren Gadd
has recently composed MIDI Orchestra files to be used with her LifeWay book,
Christ We Adore Thee.

Composing orchestrations to complement other works you have composed is very
difficult...an outsider can do it easily because they don't have anything
invested in the original work. But Lauren has done a great job and once the
playing notes are finished it will be for sale.

Is Lauren a creative person? While on a trip to NYC this last weekend as a
chaperone a high school choir tour she found time to buy a little red-hatted
stuffed duck and took pictures of the duck with people they met on the tour and
on the way back. Then she wrote the story of the Red-Hatted Duck as it traveled
back to meet her grandson and inserted the pictures for him to enjoy. And
read,
once he learns how.

As they always say, if you a a job that needs done give it to the woman behind
the man!
