[rodgersorgan] Question re: Roland Sound Canvass 8850



I have a question on the following set-up:

A Rodgers 955 with PR300S and Roland Sound Canvass 8850.  The PR300S is
connected as normal to the Sequencer In/Out ports of the Organ.  The 8850 is
connected Organ MIDI Out to 8850 In.  The PR300S Parts 1 thru 10 are set to
EXT.  The PR300S records and plays back the organ and MIDI couplers fine.

The problem is when using SMF files downloaded from Frogmusic - the files
play, however, the MIDI Program Changes are not sent to the 8850 and always
sound the Piano #1.  I realize there is no PR300S Out to the 8850 In, but
need clarification on how the connection should be made to accomplish the
goal.

To further complicate matters. at times the organist uses the Rogers Sound
Library, so has to change Parts 1 thru 10 back to INT in order to use the
disks.

Does anyone have any ideas.  Thanks
