In the early 1990's, I maintained a Rodgers model 38, serial 31039 made in
1958. Tom Hazelton, who worked at the Rodgers plant, at the time,
said it was opus two.
I think he said the opus one was in the Catholic Cathedral in Portland.
The model 38 was located in the United Methodist Church, Campbell, CA.
When the church installed their new Schantz Pipe Organ, someone from
Schantz took it home for a practice organ. There were about 350
oscillators
in the console and it was very heavy. The organ had paddle wheels in front
of
the speakers for tremolos.
