Dan,

I was wondering if I could reserve 6 seats (with dinner) for the Diane Ravitch
presentation. There are a few faculty members and students here at Nazareth who
are very interested in attending. Please let me know if spaces are available
and who I can pay for the dinners.

Thank you.

The Coalition for Common Sense in Education (CCSE), is co-sponsoring with the
Rochester Teachers Association, a presentation by internationally acclaimed
author/educator, Diane Ravitch, on Monday, May 17th, @ 4:00 pm, at the Temple
Brith Kodesh, on Elmwood Avenue. Dinner, at a cost to be determined and
announced (probably around $15.00), is also available, following her speech.
CCSE has been allocated 100 free seats, of which I have about 50 left. If any
of you are interested in hearing the presentation, let me know through e-mail;
as well as whether or not you're interested in dinner. Some folks who attend,
will simply leave at the end of the speech.
Although Ravitch supports national standards & some form of a national
assessment, she has made a significant turn-around from that of a staunch
supporter of the NCLB, to one who criticizes it quite severely, now. She's
definitely worth hearing.
Please let me know if you're interested, asap.
Thanks.
Dan
