And guess what did i mix it on? ...<drum roll> headphones! Even though it is
not recommended , this is what i have at the moment. That is why i am looking
for a set of proffessional studio monitors. Cheers roy.

Phil replied: Your very welcome! Will be doing a pod cast on using Superior
Drummer 2 soon. Wonder what Tom Kingston thinks of the sound of those
drums? I know of drummers who aren't bothering to mic up kits any more.
They are using Superior Drummer 2 instead.

Phil replied: a couple of active Yamaha MSp5 near field monitors. They seem
to have enough bass for me to do what I do. Actually, the truth when mixing
with any kind of monitor is that you know what it sounds like. Mind you, I
know you know that Roy as I have heard some of your stuff and it sounds
great!

Roy. Programmed up some brushed drums in Superior Drummer 2. You can
listen to them here:

    http://www.accessibilitytraining.co.uk/brushes.html

Also, done a comparison between Superior Drummer 2 and the old Drum Kit
From hell. Link is here:

The first track in the flash player is the old DFH, followed by the same
track with the drums in Superior Drummer 2.

Wow! How are those sonivox drums working out? I personally couldn't
tell you if you are missing out since i haven't heard the sonivox drums. I
heard they're good, not sure how good though, because I haven't heard
them...

        hi listers
I've recently purchased the entire line of acoustic drum/percussion
from Sonivox (former Sonic Implants) and am very much satisfied; I also have
Jamstix 1.81 , Groove Agent 3 , session drummer , and many free drum
samples/sound fonts.
since I don't want to waste money and clutter up my hard drives , do
I miss out on not having the Superior Drummer line of products?
        thanks alot
        Roy.
