I've rolled the bottom of the card right into the braille writer before. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kim Morrow" <morrowmediakc@xxxxxxxxx> To: <real-eyes@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, December 17, 2006 3:43 AM Subject: [real-eyes] strategies for writing brief notes in Christmas cards? Here's a question for the season: What are some strategies those of you who are totally blind utilize in order to write just a very brief one- or two-line note in a Christmas card? Normally, of course, this is done by simply penciling in a message on the card-which doesn't work well when you can't see the location of the preprinted message or your handwriting has just a bit to be desired. I've placed pieces of stationery in the card-but they're usually much larger than the two sentences I want to write. The blank notecards you get at the drugstore (which are great for placing into a card slate for taking notes) don't exactly look festive. Any suggestions?
