I'm not sure. I think it is probably not high speed but not as slow as dial up. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: real-eyes-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:real-eyes-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Jim Fettgather Sent: Monday, July 28, 2008 2:39 PM To: real-eyes@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [real-eyes] Re: question about wireless internet card through Verizon I have never been called on my five gigabyte limit with Sprint. I rarely access Youtube videos, but often listen to live streaming, and in fact, often use the card all day long to download email. The $60 a month is well worth it, but I'm wondering, in Eudora, will you have access to high speed or will it drop back to 56 k modem speeds? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tina Jinkens" <tjinkens@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <real-eyes@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, July 28, 2008 3:06 PM Subject: [real-eyes] question about wireless internet card through Verizon Hi all, First of all, I need to share news that I am moving, which many don't know yet. I will be teaching in Eudora, KS. The only way to get non dial-up internet service is through Verizon. I was told by Verizon that the price is $60 for 5 gigabytes of use. Is that a fair amount of useage? I am clueless about how that would translate into downloads, etc. I don't do a lot of downloading, but I do some and will begin to do more with this new position. I do listen to live radio programs a fair amount while doing other things. Can anyone give me a rough idea of what to expect or what to watch out for? Thanks much!
